I read two very interesting phrases about fear and failure this week.
The first one goes like this:
People should learn to overcome their fear for marketing , rather than let that fear control over their lives .
My attention did not focus on the fear for marketing, but on fear in general. Sometimes fear is such a strong emotion, that even without noticing it, it interferes in our thinking and blocks us from taking some actions that could otherwise be beneficial for us. The best solution would be to overcome the fear. However, if it is not possible, we should at least be brave and act despite our fear. In any case, we should not let fear control our lives.
The second phrase says:
When you are refused by thousands of people, you will be very famous and successful.
When we get rejected by people, we tend to think it is a failure; however, this statement says that when we get refused by thousands of people we will be very famous and achieve success. It follows from this reasoning that we should not be afraid of refusals and instead take the initiative to start looking for people who can refuse us. After all, we like fame and success.
